Three layers of youth protection

1. Signup block

Users under 14 are rejected at signup via date-of-birth verification (terms Art. 23).

2. Youth gates

Ages 14–18 are flagged isMinor: stronger filters, adult features blocked, guardian consent for paid use.

3. ZK adult assurance

Adults may optionally prove 18+ with Google Longfellow ZK — no DOB or legal name disclosed.

Google Wallet · Digital Credentials

On Chrome with Digital Credentials API, the wallet produces an mDoc ZK proof. EU users: dc+sd-jwt PID path supported.

ZK age assurance does not replace signup blocking. Under-14 rejection uses self-reported birth date as the first gate. Internal fixture paths are not offered to end users.
