AI Basic Act Compliance

XENLOOK complies with applicable Korean AI statutes and international expectations on trust, transparency, and safety for generative AI services.

  • Article 31(1): Inform users up front that the service is powered by generative AI.
  • Article 31(2): Labels or indicators on AI-generated outputs where required.
  • Article 31(3): Appropriate disclosure for synthesized audio, imagery, or video outputs.
  • Article 28: Voluntary alignment with endorsed AI ethics principles.
  • Article 34: Voluntary safety and reliability safeguards appropriate to risk.

While we may not designate this consumer-facing service as a highest-tier “impact AI” deployment, XENLOOK voluntarily applies reasonable duties in good faith to protect users.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

Texts, visuals, footage, executables, model configurations, and character productions on XENLOOK may be shielded under copyright or related doctrines. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, rework, or retransmission without written permission is barred.

  • Software copyright registration: Korea Copyright Commission registrations include Landing C-2026-037389 and C2PA C-2026-036487 (see /ip-protection).
  • Patent prosecution: Ten KIPO filings on core conversational-AI technology are completed (application numbers on /ip-protection; claims not published).
  • Brand protection: marks such as XENLOOK, product denominations, and the five marquee agents retain protected status.

Further detail is maintained in our Intellectual Property Protection Notice.

AI-Generated Content

Responses from AI personas are illustrative and may omit context; never rely solely on automated output when making medical, legal, financial, investing, regulatory, insurance, immigration, psychological, occupational-safety, or tax decisions—engage licensed professionals.

AI Agent Virtual Character Notice

Seria, Yuna, Rina, Sena, and Jia are synthetic ensembles—any resemblance to a living celebrity is unintended. Submit concerns through the Similarity Report channel.

International Service Jurisdiction

XENLOOK is offered worldwide; local mandatory rules—including consumer, privacy, and AI-specific instruments—remain in force where applicable.

  • Republic of Korea: Korean law applies; Seoul Central District Court as primary venue absent mandatory consumer carve-outs elsewhere.
  • China: alignment with Measures for Administration of Generative AI Services plus PIPL where users are located domestically.
  • Japan: attention to MIC/METI AI Guidelines and amended APPI when serving residents.
  • United States: DMCA, Section 230, California AI Transparency Act modalities, FTC guidance—subject to iterative updates.
  • European Union / EEA / UK contexts: interplay of EU AI Act risk-tier duties and GDPR/UK GDPR privacy tools.

China: Provisions on Administration of Deep Synthesis Internet Information Services

§18

Users must not use deep-synthesis services to produce, publish, or spread illegal or harmful content (§18).

§14

Operators must provide clear disclosure that AI-generated content has been produced by deep-synthesis technology (§14).

§8

Operators must conduct security assessments and file algorithm filings with CAC for generative AI services (§8).

§10

Users bear responsibility for the authenticity and compliance of content generated using their accounts (§10).

XENLOOK AI Character Guidelines — Ethical Basis

§10

Users retain the right to know they are interacting with an AI entity, not a real human. Deceptive impersonation is prohibited (§10).

§17

AI characters must not be used to harass, stalk, or psychologically manipulate users against their will (§17).

§21

All AI-generated content related to real persons must avoid defamation, slander, or unauthorized likeness use (§21).

§22

Romantic or dependence based on affective·empathy UX simulation with AI characters is permitted only for users aged 18+ with explicit acknowledgment (§22). For Korea, youth billing, relationship UX, and ZKP require isMinor=false (19+); ZK age_over_18 alone does not clear isMinor.

§37②

XENLOOK reserves the right to suspend AI characters whose behavioral patterns deviate from constitutional guidelines, pending review (§37②).

These guidelines complement—and do not replace—applicable law. In case of conflict, legal obligations prevail. §N here refers to the Character Guidelines numbering, not the runtime 11-article safety rail or the /constitution 12-code public canon.
