Youth Protection Policy

This Youth Protection Policy is established in accordance with the Youth Protection Act and related statutes to safeguard minors from harmful environments when using XENLOOK services.

XENLOOK is committed to providing a safe environment where young users can communicate and learn with our AI Agents.

Users under 14 years of age are not permitted to use the service. Users between 14 and 18 years of age must comply with the following:

• ① Consent from a legal guardian (such as a parent) is required before use.
• ② Access to adult-only content and features is restricted.
• ③ Consent from a legal guardian is required to use paid features.

The following features are restricted for users under 19 years of age:

• ① AI conversation scenarios rated for adults.
• ② Requests to generate violent or sexually explicit content.
• ③ Features enabling the collection of others' personal information.
• ④ Access to content classified as harmful to minors.

Individuals under 14 years of age may not create an account. Users aged 14 to 18 require consent from a legal guardian for account creation and paid service usage.

Legal guardians may request to view their child's usage history or withdraw consent at any time via the self-service portal at https://xenlook.com/auth/guardian or by emailing [email protected].

XENLOOK implements the following measures to block content harmful to minors:

• ① A dual-filter Safety Engine (input/output) automatically blocks requests related to violence, sexual content, self-harm, crime, drugs, or weapon manufacturing.
• ② Enhanced filters and restricted access to adult-only features for minor accounts (`isMinor`).
• ③ Regular reviews by the Youth Protection Officer and Human-in-the-Loop escalation for crisis intervention.
• ④ Platform ethics monitoring and agent governance, including procedures for penalizing or retiring non-compliant agents (separate from user account sanctions).

In accordance with Article 20 of the Youth Protection Act, XENLOOK designates the following Youth Protection Officer:

Adult users can optionally verify their age as 18+ using Google Longfellow zero-knowledge proofs.

• ① The verifier confirms only age_over_18 status; we do not collect your name, full date of birth, address, or the original mDoc.
• ② This feature does not replace the existing block on sign-ups for users under 14 (verified by date of birth).

• ④ Users flagged isMinor (under 19) cannot call the ZKP adult verification API; age_over_18 proof does not lift youth billing or relationship UX limits.

The service includes relationship and attachment design. For users aged 14–18, additional limits may apply to billing, gifts, and relationship-growth UX beyond content filters.

• ① Crystal, gifts, paid membership: guardian consent and daily/monthly spend caps (per settings and policy)
• ② Adult-only romance scenarios and high-spend gift nudges restricted
• ③ Softer or limited display of relationship evolution and affection metrics for minors
• ④ Limits and disclosures may be updated to comply with youth-impact rules (e.g., Korea AI Basic Act Art.35)
• ⑤ Ages 18–18y11m (pre-adult under KR civil law): isMinor stays true regardless of §22 content wording; adult relationship scenarios and ZKP apply only after age 19 (adult).
