What are Crystals?
Crystals are XenLook's premium currency, used for special experiences like in-depth conversations, gifts, Canvas projects, and cinematic content. You can purchase additional Crystals beyond those included with certain plans. For example, sending a coffee gift costs 50 Crystals, and code generation starts at 30 Crystals.
Is XenLook available for free?
Yes, the Explorer plan is completely free. It includes 20 messages per day. You can earn 20 extra messages per ad watched, up to 5 times daily, for a maximum of 120 messages. No credit card is required to start, and the free plan is available indefinitely.
What's the difference between a membership and Crystals?
Membership grants access to core conversation features, including your daily message limit, memory retention period, and AI model tier. Crystals are a separate in-app purchase used for the Studio, gifts, and other premium features. Use your membership for daily chats and top up with Crystals as needed.
How do Crystal bonuses differ from Gift Shop discounts?
These benefits function differently. ① Crystal Top-up Bonus (💎 credit): This is an additional amount credited to your balance *after* a paid top-up is completed. For example, a Citizen member topping up 10,000 Crystals receives an extra 5% (500 Crystals), totaling 10,500 Crystals. ② Gift Shop Discount (🎁 instant): This is an immediate deduction from the price of a gift purchase, based on your membership discount rate. For example, a Citizen member buying a 1,000💎 gift receives an instant 5% discount (50💎), paying only 950💎. For Signature and Royal tiers, the bonus and discount percentages differ and are applied separately to their respective benefits.
Do Crystals expire?
Purchased Crystal is valid for 12 months. Complimentary Crystal from ads or promotions is valid for 6 months. Membership grants daily message access, not monthly Crystal grants. We send a reminder 30 days before unused Crystal expires.
Are refunds possible?
Full refunds for unused memberships are available within 7 days of payment. For Crystals, refunds on the unused portion are available within 14 days of purchase. You can request a refund directly via Settings > Billing Management or by contacting us at [email protected].
Do gifts have a tangible effect?
Yes, gifts genuinely influence a character's affinity and emotional state. A well-timed gift can lead to richer, more nuanced responses. Sending gifts on anniversaries or special occasions will even unlock unique reactions from your character.
Do you offer plans for teams or organizations?
Yes, an Enterprise plan is in development. It will include team-based management, custom agent creation, a guaranteed SLA, an administrator dashboard, and usage reports. Volume discounts are available for teams of 10 or more. Please contact [email protected] for details.

Do Canvas projects use a lot of Crystals?
Simple slides start at 15 Crystals, document creation from 20–25 Crystals, and code generation from 30 Crystals. Signature members receive a 20% discount, and Royal members receive a 30% discount. Use over 500 Crystals in a month to earn a 10% bonus credit for the following month.
