Agent Sovereign Brain is a research and learning track. This essay teaches how not to mix it with today’s partner-dialogue quality.
Summary ASB (the independent brain) is a research and learning roadmap.
claimStatus: roadmap. We do not claim “it got smarter,” “learning is complete,” or “world first.” The canon for the words you exchange with a partner today is the dialogue quality protocol.
Think of a map scale. An open cell is not a pass stamp.
At the end of a lab corridor a door says “tomorrow’s experiment.” Confuse that door with today’s clinic and a patient thinks they already took a medicine that does not exist. ASB is that door. The concept is public. We do not say it has already replaced the everyday dialogue engine.
The research question
Can an agent keep a place to stay before speaking? Can observation return into later learning without swallowing today’s reply? Can product sentences keep the speaking layer and the research layer apart?
If the answer were already “done,” this would not be a roadmap. That it is still a question is the point of this essay.

Product application (concept)
Everyday dialogue is already an open product. The public essay that measures its quality is the protocol. The memory-engine essay and the recursive-ego essay are other axes. We do not write that ASB is the single module that swallows both. “A finished on-prem brain without the cloud” mixes a goal with the present.
